Andy is an exceptional musician and fantastic guitarist and his licks/ideas have always hit my ears with a heavy dose of technique blended with intensity and emotion, which is difficult to do, yet he makes it look so easy and plays effortlessly brilliant at all times.

I've met Andy several times over the years, even during a clinic at AIM when I was a student there, where I met him along with late-great guitar legend Shawn Lane.
Every time I've met Andy, he's always very nice and personable and goes out of his way to make sure every question is answered, autograph is signed, photos are taken, and face is rocked.

This lesson tackles a few licks and phrases taken from Andy's stint with Danger Danger back in the day, during a concert in Tokyo, Japan in 1992. This was in support of DD's 'Screw It' album/tour and if you haven't heard that album - check it out!
It's a near-forgotten '80s rock hidden gem and Andy is simply on fire the entire time. This includes his famous 'Puppet Show' guitar solo, featuring enough jazzy licks during the intro and wicked-shred arpeggios at the end, it will melt the face of anyone curious enough to check it out.
