The area has long been whispered about by locals—shadowy, human-like figures said to sprint toward unsuspecting visitors, and ghostly spheres of light drifting silently through the ancient trees.
Are those same ghostly forms responsible for appearing on the road that parallels Rain cliff woods, causing drivers to swerve. Is their intention to cause harm, or are they trying to communicate.
Their investigation began in daylight but slowly slipped into night, as snow blanketed the woodland floor, muting sound and amplifying every movement. The frozen landscape only deepened the sense that something unseen was watching from the darkness.
