Today we are talking about How To: Beat A Heavy Hitter.
These kinds of players are effective because they hit a big ball. This can be intimidating and hard to find a rhythm against, as you feel like you have no time.
There are a few steps to beating a player who hits a big ball, that get covered in this video!
Mental Belief - I can beat this kind of player
Changing pace/spins on the ball - adding different speeds and spins to keep them out of their rhythm
Compact unit turn - making sure contact point remains in front
Slice approach shots - keeps the ball low and allows you to close for the volley
