Alongside fellow Underwater Filmmaker Krys Fernandez and the inspiring people at The Ark Team, Total Immersion, and Biophiles Connect, we explored some of Komodo’s iconic dive sites before heading into untouched territory, revealing a pristine marine ecosystem rarely seen on traditional liveaboard routes.

One of the most unforgettable experiences was diving at Sangeang Island, beneath an active volcano where volcanic gas bubbles rise through the reef - a breathtaking display of the Earth's raw power and beauty.

This trip and all the wonders encountered reminded me of a simple truth: we are not separate from nature; we are nature. Yet, we often forget this profound connection in the chaos of modern life.
