They said there was only a 5% chance of seeing fuji-san today... but we got lucky! ✨ Even in the middle of a hazy Japanese summer, Mt. Fuji decided to show us the peak for just a few minutes.
If you're visiting Japan in summer season, you know the struggle—humidity and clouds usually hide the mountain completely.
The tour guide told us today we had 5% visibility rate. But hopped on the bus to Kawaguchiko anyway... and honestly? That 5% was all I needed. Stick around to see the moment Fuji-san finally decided to say hello.
In this vlog, summer heat don’t bother me anyway. Explored the lakeside, ate incredible ‘cold’ noodles, grab a snack from the iconic lawson, struggle to take a picture in chureito pagoda and honcho street.
No trip to Kawaguchiko is complete without trying the local "soft cream"! THE BEST ICE CREAM WITH A VIEW—Lavender Soft Serve at Oishi Park, a must-try for ¥500.
