Learn about Backdrafts with Ron!

Описание: Hello and welcome to Naples Motorsports, my name is Ron Ward today this beautiful 1965 Backdraft cobra- this was a special ordered vehicle for a very good client of ours. Lots of custom stuff done to it that you’re not gonna find on most other Backdrafts that are out there. If you’re looking for something unique, looking for something that’s completely different from everything else out there: this is gonna be the car. Let’s start right up here upfront: chrome wheels 18 inch by Backdraft. There’s hardly any cars available with chrome wheels on them. In fact, I don't believe you can even get them anymore by Backdraft. You're also gonna notice coming down the side there’s no side pipes. This particular customer was concerned about his wife getting in and out of the car burning her legs, although, that’s not really an issue with these cars so I can explain that later in another video. Coming around to the back, because of the no side pipes, you’ll notice as you get around here to the rear, the exhaust is going to exit out the back of the car- gives the car a really beautiful sound. Looks definitely different then the other cars that you find out there in the market. Let's keep another thing in mind; the hardtop. This is a removable hardtop. This is not permanent. He wanted this for air conditioning. This car does have air conditioning in it and windows. The windows simply fold up like this. You can open up the doors to get in and out. Once inside, reach up, close it back down. Take a look under the hood just a moment. This 427 is decorated beautifully, all chromed out, polished down, especially for this client of ours. The intake manifold is polished- valve covers. Look at the air conditioning compressor, power steering, overflow tank for the cooling system. Everything looks beautiful under here.
