My first time visiting Klaipeda, Lithuania and it did not disappoint!

Описание: On the 9th day of my solo cruise around Eastern Europe and the Baltics, I visited the beautiful city of Klaipeda, Lithuania on the Norwegian Dawn! Today I have a shore excursion booked with NCL to visit what's known as the "Witches Hill" on the Curonian Spit across the lagoon from mainland Klaipeda. This short tour included a 45 minute hike up to see the birch wood carvings depicting mythical creatures and legends. After the hike we spent some time walking along the shoreline enjoying the beautiful views of the Baltic Sea, then visited the sand dunes where we walked along the beachfront. After the tour concluded I spent some time walking around the Old City in Klaipeda before heading back to the ship. I already know I love the Baltic region and can't wait to come back for a longer visit!
