According to the OCR examiner report nearly all candidates did not get this A level Physics question on Circlar Motion. This is an OCR A Level Physics Question, however the Physics of it is applicable to all exam boards including OCR A, CIE Cambridge International, AQA A level Physics, Edexcel, WJEC, Eduqas and also similar courses such as AP Physics and IB Physics.
Please note this is not an official solution, just my take on on the physics of the question and there may be better ways or wordings. I am not affiliated with OCR.
