Описание: I show you the equipment you need to record professions studio-quality vocals for any recording, right from your home. I also go through the Logic and Zoom settings I use to track and share vocals remotely with my producers while recording.

Lockdown...sucks. It has also been the catalyst for major problem-solving, and in this case, the two problems I was forced to solve were using the gear I already have to set up for recording non-demo vocals; and also figuring out how to use Logic and Zoom together to have the producers on this recording project right there with me, producing the vocals.

In this video, I take you through a very simple gear list and set up for what you need to produce high quality vocals at home, and the take you through the Logic and Zoom settings for recording, and for sharing hi-fi stereo audio live with collaborators elsewhere in the world. This video is for people who want to know what gear you need for high quality vocal recording at home, but the Logic and Zoom settings info is aimed at people already familiar with a DAW.

UPDATE: A few days after making this video, we needed to reverse the process so one of the producers could record BVs and share the sound with me while I co-produced them and...we couldn’t replicate the ability to share. The only different variable we could figure out was that our Mac OS systems were different. So to replicate my set up, you may specifically need to be running OS Catalina on a Mac.
