11. SOUNDBITE Ewan McGregor:
"The characters are very, it's very evenly based, it really is a story about two people on the run, whereas in the script it could have been a story about a guy on the run with his girlfriend, do you know what I mean? And it's not."
SOUNDBITE Scarlett Johansson:
"And I think Michael also made it that way, you know, Michael really didn't want my character to just be, you know, a kind of pushover and he was adamant and I think that's probably why he cast me as opposed to just, you know, somebody you could have dragged round."
SOUNDBITE Ewan McGregor:
"It's nice that they get each other out of moments of, in fact twice you get him out of, me out of moments where I'm about to get my head kicked in. Once with a nail gun, which was really testy, when you nail someone's hand to the door."
SOUNDBITE Scarlett Johansson:
"The wrench was pretty good too."
SOUNDBITE Ewan McGregor:
"And then the wrench in the face is awesome."
SOUNDBITE Scarlett Johansson:
"Yes. "

"Ewan had a couple of bad accidents."

"We both got knocked about".
SOUNDBITE Scarlett Johansson:
"You had that horrible scratch all down the back of your leg that was awful. Remember that? He literally lost a chunk of skin. He goes like this, 'look what happened' and he pulls them and I go 'no' and then I look and I was like 'oh my god that's horrible'. It was awful, you lost half your back".
SOUNDBITE Ewan McGregor:
"It was such a silly little thing as well. They had this flooring in the scene at the end where I'm fighting with Sean Bean, they had this flooring done that was like sand paper, worse than sand paper"
SOUNDBITE: Scarlett Johansson:
"Because it was supposed to be wet and they didn't want anybody to fall but of course when Ewan did fall..."
SOUNDBITE Ewan McGregor:
"So i'm scuttling backwards as he's swinging round on a thing, I can't remember exactly. I'm scuttling backwards and I slipped and I literally grated my arse on the floor".
SOUNDBITE Scarlett Johansson:
"It was awful".
SOUNDBITE Ewan McGregor:
"It looked like I'd come off a motorbike at 100 miles per hour".
SOUNDBITE Scarlett Johansson:
"Yeah it was pretty nasty. We both had some kind of rough days. I almost lost my eye, that knee was pretty bad, I had like this blue knee that would just not go away, it was blue for like 3 months. It was so gross and the makeup person was taking photographs trying to document the progress for future reference, because it was so fantastically, horribly rainbow coloured. It was awful".
