Hi, welcome to Deaf Talks News.
Yesterday there was news about tension between India and Bangladesh.
Bangladesh is refusing to travel to India for the T20 World Cup 2026.
Why did they refuse to play in India ? Let me explain.
In 2026 the T20 cup was hosted by Indian and Srilanaka.
Therefore all countries have to come to India and play their match.
Since India Pakistan has a problem they play all the matches in sri lanka.
But Bangladesh also raised a concern that they want to play all the matches in Srilanka not In india.
Why do they say that?
Bangladesh fast bowler Mustafizur Rahman was the only Bangladeshi player playing IPL 2026.
He was bought by KKR for ₹9.20 crore.
But some political parties and groups in India raised objections to a Bangladeshi player participating in the IPL.
Due to tensions between the two countries at the time.
BCCI asked his team, Kolkata Knight Riders, to release him.
So Mustafizur Rahman was removed from the Indian Premier League (IPL).
This decision upset the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB).
After this BCB expressed player safety and security in India.
They formally requested the ICC to move Bangladesh matches to Sri Lanka.
Sri Lanka is co-hosting the T20 World Cup.
But ICC reportedly rejected the request.
ICC reportedly said if you do not travel to India or risk losing points.
After hearing this BCB is upset about political pressure in India affecting cricket.
Many Indian leaders say cricket should not mix with politics, but tensions remain.
Both countries hope for a peaceful solution soon.
