January 21, 2026, Nest Cam 4K
E26 is alone on the nest at the beginning of the video. Usually at least one parent is right above in the upper branches at all times. E26 warbles (stretch wings over back) and does a little wing flapping. The emerging pin feathers are showing up so well now. The crop is so heavy the eaglet can hardly stay upright. The next clip is of F23 on the nest with E26. M15 brings a squirrel. F23 will feed E26. Thanks for watching

This nest is located in North Fort Myers, Florida. They usually lay eggs in November, and eggs typically begin hatching in December. This is the third season with the new female F23, whom M15 chose after longtime mate, Harriet, disappeared in 2022 leaving behind 2 eaglets which M15 successfully raised by himself until they both fledged.
