Hi! I’m Isabella Terán, I’m 25 years old, and this is my application video for the DW Traineeship 2027–2028.
In this short film, I share a bit of my story and journalistic inspiration – from growing up in Venezuela, where press freedom is far from guaranteed, to finding my path in Germany. You’ll see glimpses of my journey through radio, podcasts, video, media workshops, interviews and social media – all driven by one goal: to create journalism that connects people, sparks dialogue and celebrates diversity.
Outside of my media and journalistic projects, I’m a curious soul who loves good coffee with friends, long walks through Frankfurt, and deep conversations that open new perspectives.
