A supercell thunderstorm developed on the Border Ranges before moving into the Scenic Rim region of South-East Queensland on January 3, 2022. The storm brought destructive winds and likely large hail on the ranges with many trees downed. Fortunately the storm generally weakened as the storm left the ranges, but its beautiful structure remained, before the storm finally died over Logan and the far southern Brisbane suburbs.
Filmed at Peak Crossing, south of Brisbane.
