The Crime Branch investigation into the murder of MLA Naba Das is continuing based on doubts raised by his family, Odisha Law Minister Prithviraj Harichandan said on Tuesday. Reacting to a statement by Naba Das’s daughter Dipali, the minister clarified that the probe is examining the truth behind the incident, possible conspiracy, and involvement of others.

“The Crime Branch is investigating the case based on the family’s suspicion. It will look into the truth, conspiracy and involvement. There was an attempt by the previous government to stop the investigation,” Harichandan stated.
