Piper is dating Leo, but meeting Cole there is this heat between them. They're starting an affair for a couple of weeks. Both of them think it's better if they'd break up, so they do... but neither one of them is able to get over this break up. Cole is starting to date Phoebe and when Leo asks Piper to marry him Cole and her realize that this is the best way to go, even though they still love each other.

***Edit: I KNOW that never happened on the show, so please don't do that "That never happened, you know?" comment-thing anymore. I've seen Charmed and I know what happened and what didn't happen, the vid is just something I would have liked to see but there's no way that would have ever happened on the show.
