Описание: Todays video is a full route visual on route 69 between Canning Town and Walthamstow Central. I was sitting around at home doing nothing so I decided to visual the 69 as I had it planned for a while, and I saw that 2 WHVs were on it so I thought why not. I liked filming this as it was my old local so it was nice going back and seeing my old area gentrified, and the journey was pretty quiet too. I thought the bus would get packed by Stratford or Plaistow but fortunately that wasn’t the case. However we did have to regulate a couple times.

Here's a brief summary of the history of route 69:
The route was introduced between North Woolwich Free Ferry and Stratford Broadway, replacing trolleybus 669, and was later extended to Chingford Mount and then Chingford Station.

In the 1970s, the Sunday allocation was moved to Poplar garage before being withdrawn, and the Chingford section was briefly replaced by route 269 before being restored.

During the 1980s, the route was converted to one-person operation with Leyland Titans, moved between several garages, and saw repeated changes to its Chingford extension.

The route was taken over by Stagecoach, cut back to London City Airport with the North Woolwich section replaced by route 474, and converted to low-floor Dennis Tridents.

It later became a 24-hour service, continuing to run between Walthamstow and London City Airport.

In 2016, it trialled inductively charged electric buses, transferred to Tower Transit, then to Docklands Buses/Blue Triangle, with BYD E400 EV buses.
