Inside BMI's Songwriting Camp at Outpost

Описание: BMI hosted a songwriting camp in June at The Outpost in Asbury Park, NJ for some of the industry’s most promising talents. The camp brought together emerging songwriters and producers from all over the world to live, collaborate, network and create together. These writers and producers bonded over shared meals and activities and during daily writing and recording sessions at Lakehouse Studios. It was a unique opportunity for the participants to establish ongoing working relationships, and it was a rare glimpse into the creative process of producing the next big hit.

This year’s camp brought together Chelsea Jade, who has been hailed by Noisey as “New Zealand’s accidently dream pop hero,” GRAMMY-nominated producer Danny Murcia, Ingrid Andress, who co-wrote Charlie XCX’s single “Boys,” Vevo DSVER “artist to watch” Olivia Noelle, songwriter Rami Jrade, who worked on Common King’s GRAMMY-nominated reggae album of the year, Lost in Paradise, Oslo-based producer and songwriter Earwulf, producer One Love and the songwriting duo Whiskey Water.
