Hello everyone. Today we are going to show you how to set up our Home Salt Therapy device – Saltair UV.

The Saltair UV device consists from two main parts – the base and the upper cover. The device is best used during sleep hours.
Place the device on a level, stable and dry surface (nightstand) and remove the upper cover and the water cover.
Connect the AC adapter to the base.

Now, we need to make the saline solution.
In order to fill the water tank, use the measuring cup provided and fill the water tank up to 300ml.

Fill up the measuring cup provided with water and dissolve ½ teaspoon of rock salt and pour the saline solution into the water tank over the existing water. Do not exceed the Max level. It is normal to have deposited impurities in the cup after dissolving rock salt that is natural and unprocessed – please discard these.

Start with the recommended ½ teaspoon of rock salt. If necessary, add more at the next refill. Do not exceed 1 teaspoon of rock salt for the whole water tank capacity, rather maximize your exposure to salt therapy.
Wipe the water tank dry using a paper towel. Place the water cover over the surface of the water and close the unit.
Plug in the electric adapter.

Push the ON/OFF button. The power LED turns ‘On’ and the device starts working. Microscopic salt particles come out of the device through the top opening. Direct the air stream towards you.

Pushing the “TIMER” button cycles the 3h, 6h, 9h and the “STAY ON” program. It also acts as an “OFF” button.
SaltAir UV offers two UV light intensities for water treatment against bacteria and mold. You choose this by consecutively pushing the “LIGHT” button; the UV light can be used at night, during functioning, or during the day when the unit is OFF.

The device will empty in about a week. The mist is not very visible and this is normal! Only a light air stream will be felt coming out of the device.
SaltAir is not a humidifier – it is exclusively designed to release microscopic salt particles into the air, for breathing.

The tiny salt particles penetrate deep into the lungs all the way to the alveoli – where the oxygen intake takes place. This helps improve blood oxygenation, clearing of mucus, reducing inflammation and fighting infections in the respiratory system.
