Описание: A site-specific augmented reality installation for the zodiac clock inside Palazzo della Libertà, Bergamo (Italy). Since the 17th century, magic lanterns circulated in Europe alongside lunar calendars and almanacs. Science, optics, and astrology were part of a syncretic system of thought called Magia Naturalis. To quote Leonardo da Vinci: 'The science of astrology is born from the eye, because it is through the eye that it is generated.' The artwork reproduces the mechanism of the phenakistoscope, a 19th-century optical device developed to animate sequential drawings and deceive the eye."
