Recipe
Chat Patta Aalu Samosa
Ingredients:
Boiled potatoes 750 grams
Onion (chopped) 2 (medium)
Chili powder 2 tbsp
Salt 1 tbsp
Turmeric powder 1 tbsp
Amchur powder 6 tbsp
Chopped Coriander 4 tbsp
Nigella Seeds 1 tbsp
Green chillies (sliced) 8
Oil for frying
For the samosa dough:
Flour 750 grams
Salt 1 tbsp
Clarified butter 1 cup
Celery 1 tbsp
Water 2 cups
Method:
Crush the potatoes well and mix them with all the ingredients and keep aside. Now mix the ingredients of the dough and knead it and keep it aside. Then make half of it in a 6 inch circle and fill the potato filling and seal it on top. Now heat the oil in a pan and fry the samosas for 10 minutes.
Chicken Cheese Samosa
Ingredients:
Minced chicken 1/2 kg
Chopped onion 1
Crushed Red Chilli 1 tsp
grated cheddar cheese 1 cup
Salt 1/2 tsp
Turmeric 1/2 tsp
Cumin 1tsp
Chopped green chillies 2
Chopped green coriander 3 tbsp
Egg 1
Flour 2 tbsp
Oil for frying
Samosa strips 1 packet
Method:
Mix chicken mince, onion, red chillies, salt, turmeric, cumin, chopped green chillies and chopped green coriander in a bowl and egg and flour in a separate bowl to prepare the mixture. Fry for 6 minutes and serve hot.
Tikka cheese samosa
Ingredients:
Chicken mince 1/2 kg
Onion 1
Crushed Red Chilli 1 tsp
grated cheddar cheese 1 cup
Salt 1/2 tsp
Ground turmeric 1/2 tsp
Cumin 1 tsp
Chopped green chillies 2
Chopped green coriander 3 tbsp
Egg 1
Flour 2 tbsp
Oil for frying
Samosa strips 1 packet
coal 1 piece
Method:
In a bowl, mix the minced chicken, onion, ground red chilli, grated cheddar cheese, salt, ground turmeric, cumin, chopped green chilli and chopped coriander. In another bowl, mix the egg and flour. Heat a piece of charcoal. Make a space in the bowl with the minced meat and place a piece of foil. Now place the hot charcoal on the foil, add a little oil and cover. To make the samosa, place 1 tablespoon of the minced meat mixture on the samosa strip and fold it like a samosa and apply the egg mixture on the edges to close it. When all the samosas are ready, freeze them.
