Tommy Thompson Park (Toronto) - Urban Cross-Country Skiing

Описание: This video shows my Sunday February 6th, 2022 morning cross country (nordic) skiing adventure on the Leslie Street Spit in Toronto's east end. This is a man-made peninsula beginning from the foot of Leslie St and stretching approximately 5km out into Lake Ontario. The spit is home to Tommy Thompson Park, and this was my first time visiting the park with cross country skis. Beginning from the Leslie St entrance, I skied all the way to the lighthouse at the end of the peninsula.

I filmed this using my GoPro HERO 9 Black action camera mounted to a chest strap. I recorded the audio with a Panasonic voice recorder and earpiece microphone.
