In this video, I take you along as Santiago tries an aqua treadmill for the first time! 💦🏇 This incredible therapy tool is designed to help horses rehabilitate, build strength, and improve conditioning in a low-impact way. I wasn’t sure how Santiago would react, but he handled it like a champ! Aqua therapy is especially useful for performance horses, as it enhances muscle tone, increases flexibility, and supports overall soundness without putting stress on their joints.
Here in Wellington, there are only a few facilities that offer this treatment, and I had the opportunity to work with Andrea’s Equine Services at Carben Farms. I can’t wait for our next session!
