Today we were incredibly lucky to welcome talented New Zealand author Beccy Beavis into our classroom! Beccy is the writer of Charlie, Chill Out — a heartfelt and humorous story that helps children understand big emotions, sensory overload, and the importance of being confidently and uniquely yourself.
Inspired by her own family’s journey, Beccy shared powerful insights about resilience, empathy, and finding tools that truly help. Our HSNN hosts loved asking thoughtful questions and learning about the writing process behind this meaningful book.
