Welcome to this piano tutorial video. I will show you how to play the F# major scale on piano. This lesson is designed for beginners or those who want to brush up on their knowledge of the F# Major Scale.

The F# major scale has six sharps, the F#, the C#, the G#, the D#, the A# and the E#. The relative minor key of F# major is d# minor. The F# major scale uses the following notes: F# G# A# B C# D# E#.

The scale has seven different notes. When playing the scale, the first note is frequently repeated one octave higher at the end. That note is B in this scenario. This "rounds off" the scale and gives it a finished tone. The pitches F#, G#, A#, B, C#, D#, and E# make up the F# major scale. It contains six sharp notes, the F#, the C#, the G#, the D#, the A# and the E#.
On the piano the F# major scale uses 2 white and all the 5 black keys.

Major scales are the most significant piano scales, first and foremost because they are the most common and, second, because they are the most basic to grasp. When someone says that a piano sonata by composer and pianist Franz Schubert is played in A Major, they are referring to the A Scale.

Scales are an important aspect of piano playing, and everyone goes through the process of learning how to finger them correctly. When scales are performed with both hands at the same time, we must be extremely synchronized when playing them on the piano. This tutorial only deals with the right hand.

When practicing always start by playing slowly! Once you get more assurance you can increase speed. Practice frequently (daily) and keep your sessions short, especially if you are a beginner.
