Earlier this year, Birds Of A Feather actress Pauline Quirke announced her retirement from acting after being diagnosed with dementia in 2021. Her son Charlie is now on a mission to raise awareness, and will be heading on a 140km trek next month. The personal route will see him retrace some of his mum's steps - travelling from where she started as an aspiring actress, through where they filmed the famous sitcom, before heading home to his parents where he'll be spending Christmas. Before he sets off, Charlie's in the studio with an update on his mum's health.
