There is a lot of cloud this morning with outbreaks of rain moving in across Northern Ireland and pushing eastwards with further rain possible in the southwest. It becomes brighter and drier later in the west and Northern Ireland. Temperatures around average for the time of year, though it will feel chillier in the south‑easterly winds around Orkney and Shetland. - This is the Met Office UK weather forecast for the morning of 01/02/2026.
