Channel Update | Face Reveal | Who Am I | Where I Have Been | Homeschool Success | Moving On

Описание: Hi friends! It's been a long time. I have had a lot of life during my time off of YouTube, however, I am ready to share who I am, my face, what I have been up to all of these years, and where this channel is going. So, thank you for spending some of your valuable time catching up with me. My son actually wrote the channel intro jingle that you hear at the beginning (he is in 7th grade and we "expertly" recorded the audio of him playing it on his guitar to my phone. Very high tech, lol!!! Not a well thought out plan...but worked out ok. So please be kind, we are learning.)

I started my channel back in 2016, so I have actually had this YouTube channel for almost a decade...that is so crazy to think about. I have to say that it felt weird finally showing my face and telling my story rather than just explaining how I did things. It was nice seeing that people had been asking about me, what happened to me, etc. I was surprised that despite not posting in 4 years people actually are still finding my videos and find them helpful. It made my heart happy to see that even if I stepped away from my channel, in my absence, How This Mom Does It was still there helping people and touching lives. For all the pitfalls of the internet, seeing people's comments saying that I had helped them see that they could be successful in homeschooling, even recently, definitely showed me the positive power that social media can hold.

YouTube is a whole other world now though...it will definitely be interesting sharing my story now. Maybe I can help people like me who are starting their own businesses and just struggling to figure it all out.
