Описание: Fly with us into beautiful Santa Ynez Airport aka Kunkle Field on Runway 26 . This airport has lots of transient parking and self-service fuel. Helicopter operations are common here. Keep an eye out for gliders and airplanes without ADS-B.

TRANSIENT PARKING
There are plenty of transient parking spots with chain tie-downs located adjacent to the fuel island. Transient parking spots are clearly marked. The larger spots adjacent to the taxiway are reserved for larger planes and jets. Overnight fees for single engine is $20/night.

FUEL
Self-service fuel is available and conveniently located near the center of the airport - directly in front of the airport FBO. Fuel is reasonably priced. Full-service fuel is available 8am-6pm.

RESTROOMS
Public restrooms are located inside of the FBO. Port-a-potties are located on field by the fuel island and near the vehicle parking.

CREW CAR / CAR RENTAL
There are two crew cars available for short term use. It’s a fantastic resource at this airport and for this location. Please be sure to donate if you use these cars! Taxis and rideshares are plentiful here on the weekends as an alternate. You can arrange for car rentals in the area. Pickup for your car rental at the airport will need to be arranged directly with your car rental company of choice.

FOOD
Unfortunately, there is no café at the airport. Grab the crew car and head into Solvang or Los Olivos for amazing food and snacks. Stop by El Rancho Market for a sandwich or sushi and picnic at the airport. There are a few tables outside in the shade where you can enjoy some plane spotting.

Vineyards, good food and delicious pastries are all nearby. Solvang is less than 5 miles away and is filled with plenty of great restaurants, bakeries and shopping. Ostrichland is less than 15 minutes away and Los Olivos, the perfect weekend getaway, is only 10 minutes away.
