Nicole Kidman is phenomenal opposite Hugh Grant in HBO’s “The Undoing”, and it’s not just her acting. As Grace Fraser, the wife of Dr. Johnathan Fraser, Kidman portrays an elite Upper West Sider with impeccable fashion sense. Her bright colored wardrobe makes her stand-out from the Manhattan millionaires around her, painting her as an independent and artsy, bohemian psychologist whose life is turned upside down by a despicable crime. Signe Sejlund designed most of the wardrobe for the HBO Max psychological thriller and the choices perfectly reflect Grace’s inner turmoil. Her iconic green coat symbolizes envy and how she effortlessly stands out-- and her huge collection of coats in general makes us think she has something to hide. Grace spends most of the series incredibly covered up, with high-neck blouses and turtlenecks, as well as scarves and bows that represent her holding herself together as her life unravels.
