At Diageo Ireland— the iconic home of Guinness — a new Copal C2 system is now in full operation.
Every day, loose-loaded kegs arrive in containers.
Heavy, round, varying in weight and not exactly easy to unload.
And until recently, that meant manual labour, repetitive lifting, and physical strain.
Now? The process is fully automated.
Our Copal C2 system, equipped with a custom-developed keg gripper and AI-powered vision, detects and handles each keg with speed and precision. No matter the shape. No matter the weight.
From container to pallet, with zero manual intervention.
It’s safer. Smarter. More efficient.
And tailored to the real-world needs of high-volume logistics.
We’re not claiming a Guinness World Record (yet),
but this might be the smartest way to unload a Guinness keg.
