Baked Fish with Lemon Butter Sauce🐟🍋
Ingredients
50g (1.75 oz) unsalted butter
2 minced garlic cloves
2 tsp Dijon mustard
70ml heavy cream
1,5 tbsp fresh lemon juice
1/4 tsp pepper
1/2 tsp salt
1 shallot
Couple of lemon slices
Little hand of fresh parsley
4 white fish (I used Cod)
2-3 tsp capers
Method
1. Preheat oven to 200°C / 390°F.
2. Place a saucepan over medium heat and melt the unsalted butter in it.
3. Add the minced garlic cloves, Dijon mustard, heavy cream and lemon juice to the pan, and stir well for a few minutes until the sauce
thickens slightly.
4. Now add the pepper & salt and stir well. Set aside.
5. Finely chop the shallot and the parsley.
6. Place the fish in a oven dish. Sprinkle over the shallot and the capers. Pour over the lemon butter sauce and bake for 12 minutes in the oven till the fish is cooked.
7. Finish with some parsley and lemon slices.
