This is a documentary film on M R Ramakrishna Panikkar by Information Public Relations department, Government of Kerala. Ramakrishna Panikkar who was popular by the name Kadamanitta was a poet and his literary works had tremendous influence of songs in the genre of patayani. Kadamanitta was quite instrumental in reviving interest in poetry among the people of Kerala in the 70s and 80s by holding several recital sessions throughout Kerala. In 1992 he became the president of Purogamana Kalasahithya Sangham and in 1996 got elected to the Kerala Legislative Assembly from Aranmula constituency.
