The Binding of Isaac Afterbirth+/Plus is a smaller DLC for Rebirth/Afterbirth. It initially was made solely to add mod support, but over time ended up having more content spliced into it. Content like a new floor (The Void), new bosses (Rag Mega, Big Horn, Sister Vis, Delirious), new enemies (Portals/Voids, Stone Golems, etc.) a new character (Apollyon) and lots of new items (Jacob's Ladder, Metronome, Bloodshot Eye, Mom's Razor, Poke Go, etc.). This DLC has ended up being criticised for adding an extra layer of unnecessary and arguably artificial/cheap difficulty. The main/lead developer (Edmund Mcmillen) has since responded saying that he plans to alter and nerf several aspects of this DLC to accommodate the player base.
