The DKR decompilation project has reached a major milestone a few days ago; it is now fully shiftable! This means you can edit the game's code. The C decompilation is still only 9.15% complete at this point, but you can start making mods with it.
This first mod is a simple one. It displays a framerate counter on the bottom left side of the screen. This video shows me casually playing through the adventure mode with the framerate counter, which shows that the game lags most of the time. It mainly hovers around 20 fps during races, but it can reach as low as 15 fps in some spots.

Note: You must use the US 1.0 version of DKR, and no gameshark codes will work since all the memory addresses are shifted around.
