Demo Playthrough | Part 4: Crucible Manifested

For anyone wondering, this is where the demo for Nioh 3 ends. When we continue, it'll be from the full game.

Time to tackle the main mission, Crucible Manifested. If you remember from the Nioh 3 Alpha demo, then you know what to expect with this.

Essentially you're inside the realm of the Crucible. Basically you take damage and your Max HP decreases but if you deal damage, you regain what you lost. Not to mention your spirit will charge faster so you will need to go on the offensive. Don't go too much on it or you'll get whacked.

Another thing to point out is that while you're in the crucible, you can't fast travel. Want to do that? You need to leave the Crucible to do that or beat the mission. That's pretty much the gist of it.

At the end, we face off against the Jakotsu-baba. Remember him from the Alpha demo? Well this time, I was more than ready. I had help and it did pay off. Learned that lesson the hard way. That and I think they kind of nerfed it so who knows. Upon beating it and destroying the Crucible, Hanamatsu is free. Free of yokai. We meet with Li Naotora and gain her spirit. We also get our hands on a mirror that takes us to the Spirit Realm. We reunite with some familiar faces including Hanzo Hattori. This also serves as a hub world for you when you need to get your gear up to speed. We also meet with Tokugawa Ieyasu and he tells us of our next mission.

But that isn't until February 6th. See you then in Part 5 for we will continue with Nioh 3.
