this has been an achievable goal for me for about 2.5 years, in two events; clock and square-1.


i had previously lost my biggest chances at an easy WR, but i didn’t let it stop me. i continued to improve to a point where clock WRs were just possible, but not necessarily easy. It wasn’t a goal i was specifically looking for at the moment. Im honored to have broken the barrier that seemed nearly impossible just a few years ago, the elusive sub-2. I was almost the first person to get a sub-6 square-1 average officially, and i thought i had lost any chance of being the first to break a major barrier like that. The average could’ve easily been WR as well, without safety flips and dnf, probably would have been a 2.3x average. I’m very excited to see what comes in the future, and i will take it little steps at a time :).
