Part of a region I grew up in.

Описание: These are some pictures from May 31, 2025, taken with an Air 3S. We fly from Uhwiesen over Fluringen and Neuhausen to Beringen, pass the Beringen tower into the Lieblosental which is already part of the "Randen". We then return back over Uhwiesen to Benken and finally land again. We reach only 6km flight distance. The picture revokes quite a few memories: the houses where both of my grandparents lived are visible. I have also been running much in this neighborhood, we know the forests. we had been skiing there as kids (my father would attach ropes to his car and we would be pulled up by this skilift) or we would go cross country skiing in the randen which can be seen technically almost already black forest (the continuation in Germany). On can see some of the blackforest in the background on the flight in. On the flight back, one can also see some of the alps. Sometimes this is much more clear but one can see the Saentis, the Churfirsten and the Toedi. Of course, the video is best seen in 4K on a large monitor. The Air3S has an excellent camera.


00:00:05 we cross the Rhein between Flurlingen and Neuhausen. Flurlingen is nice to swim in the rhein. I sometimes would come back from college and walk home to Uhwiesen along the Rhein or put my cloths into a waterproof bag and swim down from schaffhausen to Flurlingen then walk the rest. To the very left, left of the large high rise building lived both my grand parents. Both of my parents have grown up in Neuhausen. I know the town pretty well too. We also mostly took the train to Zuerich from Neuhausen (the station is near the river bridge visible.

00:00:20 we get close to the Enge. To the right is the âGalgenbuckâ (where in ancient times people were hanged!) The forest to the left we know from when we were visiting my grandparents in Neubergstrasse 33.
