Day 5 of my 1000 LeetCode Problems Challenge 🚀💪 and today I solved LeetCode 387 First Unique Character in a String 🧠✨
This problem is a great example of how counting alone is not enough when the question asks for an index. In this video, I explain how to combine frequency counting with a simple scan of the original string to correctly identify the first non repeating character 😄🔥. I also talk about a common mistake many beginners make when using Counter and why iterating over the string itself is the key to getting the right answer 🐍⚡
