Jason shares with us his story of experiencing homelessness after a traumatic brain injury. The Salvation Army were able to help Jason off the streets and into Devonport Lifehouse. Since then, and with support from The Salvation Army, Jason has been able to turn his life around.
Devonport Lifehouse is an accommodation unit for people experiencing homelessness, with the aim to enable people to make positive life changes and ultimately empower them to rebuild their lives. We call these services ‘Lifehouses’ because they are more than a place to stay. They are places where people are supported with accommodation, as well as with employment, debt issues, training, spirituality, addiction and mental health to help get their lives back on track.
