How Science PROVES Trent Horn Is Wrong About The Gold Plates

Recently a friend of mine named Jacob Mayberry reached out to me about a video by Trent Horn AGAIN going after the Book of Mormon plates saying there is no way the Book of Mormon could have fit onto the plates. Jacob is a PHD student currently with a solid understanding of the research on this question, So I figured I would just let Jacob share his thoughts.

Also In order to be transparent and make an apples to apples comparison it's important to make this point of clarification: Grover's 300 to 600 plate estimate is referring to the total number of plates whereas Trent was only only referring to the unsealed portion of the plates in his video. Various witness accounts say the unsealed portion made up anywhere from one-third to one-half of the stack. Therefore if we use Grover's 300 plate estimate, the unsealed portion would have been anywhere from 100 to 150 plates. If we take Grover's 600 plate estimate, it would have been anywhere from 200 to 300 plates. The bottom line here is that Trent's 40 plate estimate is ridiculously low
