Afghan cricketers condemn deadly Kabul air strike by Pakistan, Taliban alleges 400 Civilians killed

Описание: Several Afghanistan cricketers have spoken out against the civilian casualties reported in Kabul following Pak airstrikes . Pakistan carried out heavy bombardment targeting Afghanistan's capital, Kabul on March 16. The Afghan Taliban said at least 400 people were killed in the air strike on a drug users’ rehabilitation hospital in Kabul. Expressing his outrage, Afghan cricketer Rashid Khan took to ‘X’ and said he was deeply saddened by the reports of civilian casualties. “Targeting civilian homes, medical infrastructure etc., either intentional or by mistake, is a war crime” Khan said. He also noted that the sheer disregard for human lives, especially during the holy month of Ramadan, is sickening. Afghan cricketer, Mohammad Nabi took to X and said Pakistani military regime has murdered young men seeking treatment. Similarly, Ibrahim Zadran, who is the captain of the T20I side, condemned the air strike by Pakistan. The incident is likely to strain already fragile ties between Kabul and Islamabad as regional observers warn wider implications. Meanwhile, Charred debris littered the compound of the Kabul hospital on March 17 after Pakistan air force strike. Smoke was seen rising from some of the structures, with a few of them blackened, Reuters reported
