This event took place In London on 12 and 13 October 2024 at Herne Hill Velodrome and London Velo Park/Velodrome. Notable achievements were: the most amount of Penny Farthings (58 riders) in the Herne Hill Velodrome 'Elimination Race'; and a record Penny Farthing Stack of 140 riders at the London Velo Park. About 58 riders, rode the 12 miles from Herne Hill Velodrome to London Velo Park via Tower Bridge.
A 'Stack' is a self-supporting line of riders mounted on their machines and held it in place for the required three minutes.
There was never originally a 'Penny Farthing'. In the 1870s and 1880s the machine was known simply as a Bicycle or Ordinary Bicycle.
