Why I Switched to Leather Glue from Contact Cement

Описание: I finally did it. I've been using contact cement in my leather work since I started. A buddy recently hooked me up with a bottle of water-based leather glue and I can't believe I didn't try it sooner.

Honestly, contact cement has always worked for me pretty well. There were just a couple issues that bothered me about it: the smell, and how it makes burnishing edges difficult. Leather glue has solved both issues.

I'd really recommend trying out a good water-based leather glue. I'm now using Ecostick 1816B but I'm pretty sure that most leather glues are the same. Check out the links below to grab one.
