Everyone knows the 3DO video game console...but not everyone knows about the cancelled 3DO M2! I have been doing my best to bring this rare and obscure retro gaming platform to everyone...and today I have something extra special...a video about the cancelled 3DO M2 version of Clayfighter III that would have run on the Panasonic FZ-21 console!

It's such a bummer the 3DO M2 got cancelled...but that doesn't mean we cant have some fun with it and talk about Edge Magazine's preview for ClayFighter III, which would go on to become Clayfighter 63 1/3 / Clayfighter Sculpters Cut on the the Nintendo 64. But I believe I have some beta footage of the cancelled 3DO M2 version in motion...but you tell me what you think!

Clayfighter might not be a great fighting game, or even a good 2D fighting game (seriously...its bad) but its certainly a piece of the fighting game community history and video game development history!

Plus we get to talk about Clayfighter Extreme...the cancelled PS1 / PSX prototype! Which is the only way to see Hobocop (a cancelled character previewed for the 3DO M2) in action!

Sad as it is the 3DO M2 console was cancelled...I don't think we missed much with Clayfighter! All the same if its out there I want to find it for video game history and video game preservation reasons! Beta and prototype video games are my jam!

But it did become an arcade board from Konami with Battle Tryst, Heat of Eleven 98, Total Vice, Evil Night and my fav game on the platform...Tobe! Polystars!
