After having played the Demo on 4 different consoles, we decided to hold off on a Day-One purchase and wait until a patch was released for the handling model.
Thankfully, the developers listened to community feedback and implemented an “Alternative” controller handling model which improves consistency, and vehicle behaviour in Patch 1.0.1 while also addressing several other issues.
While the game focuses on being an arcade experience, and the art direction may seem “cute” and “fun”, it’s quite challenging in the best possible way.
This homage to Formula history is well worth the price of admission, and does what it says on the tin. The only thing lacking is a Post-Race Replay system, so here’s hoping for future updates after the upcoming “Raw Power” DLC release on October 23, 2025.
