We did an early morning drive from Naga City northbound in Camarines Province all the way into Tagkawayan in Quezon Province, which is the easternmost municipality of Quezon, directly bordering Camarines Sur.
We took the Andaya Highway (also nown as the Quirino Highway in some sections).
As you'll see, the road conditions are poor in some areas, due to a major typhoon damage in late 2024 which actually flooded Naga City and put deep potholes in many portions of the roadway. Lots of construction to repair the roads with concrete. But unfortunately there were still deep potholes which could have been catastrophic to drive into. Very slow going in some sections.
The scenery is beautiful along the way, with many coconut trees in the hills and valleys nearby.
