India Embassy Marks Mahashivratri in Nepal

Описание: To celebrate the upcoming festival of Mahashivaratri, Embassy of India in Kathmandu, in collaboration with the Pashupatinath Area Development Trust, organised a cultural evening at the Pashupatinath Temple complex today.

The event featured various activities performed by the teachers and students of ICCR in Nepal along with artists from Nepal, which included Rhythmic Yoga demonstrations, classical Bharatnatyam dance performances, and devotional bhajans dedicated to Lord Shiva.

Thousands of Sadhus and spiritual seekers of different sects walk to Kathmandu from different parts of Himalayas to celebrate Mahashivratri in Pashupati Temple premises. Millions of devotees visit Pashupati temple on occasion of Mahashivratri to worship and seek blessings.
