Title: Confinement on R2xT2 with ‘t Hooft Flux, QCD Chiral Lagrangian and
Eta’
Abstract:
4d gauge theories are strongly coupled at low energies, and their
analytic computations are quite tough problem. In recent years, there was a
discovery that 4d QCD on R2xT2 with the baryon-‘t Hooft flux accepts
weakly-coupled description with maintaining its interesting features: We
can derive the chiral effective Lagrangian analytically with including the
eta’ field. We then show that the eta’ vortex in this 2d setup can be
identified as the quark itself, and we discuss its connection with
Komargodski’s pancake baryon scenario.
