This is a powerful talk in which she unpacks what she sees as the future of Africa and its youth. Ashanti Kunene is a postgraduate student at Stellenbosch University. Her research focuses on the nexus between knowledge, knowledge production, power, and black womxnhood; specifically looking at the systematic erasure of black African womxn from knowledge and knowledge production in academia and society using the 2015/2016 #FeesMustFall protests as a lens.
